3:37- What’s The Cost of NOT Doing Something? Technology Is Not a Fad!

2020: Reminder: Technology is not just a fad – Keep investing, always

I feel like I have to keep reminding everyone this! – Happy Saturday everyone! Welcome to blog #3 in the 37Archives.

Skip the read! We have a podcast!

But what? What do you mean by “Not a Fad”?

I mean – don’t expect technology to become any cheaper or avoid continually investing in your workplace with new technology. Businesses that have the latest technology have a good probability of winning. Businesses that are continually looking to outperform their competition and do the same job faster, cheaper & more reliable will win on the timeline.

If you are following my blogs posts on the 37Archive journey, you’d hear me say time and time again this decade is about efficiency and leverage – Computing helps accomplish this. Cutting down labor costs, moving data faster, and streamlining operations by offsetting “busy work” (data entry / collection / processing etc.) is the winning formula. Costs are accelerating no matter the industry. Every business is trying to process how they can perform and meet expectations without spending more money.

But let me give you the winning formula:

Have extra investment dollars? Go all in on technology. Go all in on software. Go all in on productivity. Once you find a rhythm in the workplace, once you find an avenue to leverage technology – you will win. Computers don’t pay taxes. Computers don’t have to sleep. How does a juggernaut like Amazon handle billions of dollars in logistics and is able to outperform its rivals 6:1 in growth and scale? They bet it all on technology. Millions of would be human labor hours is now accelerated exponentially with the inclusion of the technology assisting day to day operations.

Go all in.

See you tomorrow!
